Concerns of Autonomous Trucks
The industry is starting to see new technology grow and on the horizon the autonomous truck is becoming more prevalent. Which leaves many drivers concerned as the industry currently suffers of a driver shortage. With this new technology it could solve that problem, however, it creates a deficit with drivers and being unemployed. Even though the autonomous truck is still in early phases of training, there will come a time where these will go into affect. Hopefully, the country will not forget that trucking and the drivers that love this noble profession have not become a loved past time.
