Summers Trucking allows all employees to own a piece of the pie
The companies 91 dedicated employees recently received exciting news from the owners of Summers Trucking, they transferred all of their business shares into an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). By doing this, it creates a sense of trust and loyalty, from the owners to their employees and vice versa.
The idea of making such a bold move was to initiate a “Long Lasting” idea of the company, allowing Summers Trucking to stay successful for many years to come even after the main owners had passed away, it was a way to continue the history and legacy of this name.
