TransAm Trucking is the premier carrier in the temperature-controlled freight industry. This company has expanded beyond its first Kansas City, Missouri facility and now operates a fleet of over 1,000 tractors and over 1,900 trailers out of its headquarters in nearby Olathe, Kansas. There is also a fully-staffed terminal, driver’s center, and maintenance facility in Rockwall, Texas. There is a maintenance and orientation facility in Tampa, Florida. TransAm Trucking serves the Midwest, Mid-South, Northeast, and Southeast. TransAm Trucking offers over-the-road, regional, dedicated, and local driving positions.

Company drivers will have access to great equipment: the Kenworth T680, equipped with the PACCAR MX engine. This machine is fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly, and quiet. All trucks have automatic transmissions which mean less fatigue in traffic, a smoother ride, and excellent fuel mileage. All trucks have condo cabs, dual bunks, refrigerators, Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), power inverters, and are satellite radio-equipped.

TransAm offers a worthwhile tuition reimbursement program to student drivers. This company wants to invest in students and help repay your truck driving school loan. We hire graduates of truck driving school programs across the country and will reimburse $125 per month, up to $6,000.

After the final monthly installment of the Transition Pay, drivers receive a retention bonus for every month they are employed with TransAm. Company drivers receive $200 each month he or she is continuously employed. Independent Contractors will receive $250 each month he or she is continuously contracted with TransAm.
